I choose this cruise for myself and my older friend as it left from the port of Bayonne. We'd been on the ship previously, and like the "adults only" sections, variety of foods in the dining room, the entertainment and the service. This cruise was quite inferior. The food had been reduced to the lowest common denominator, excluding anything exotic or spicy. I don't think hamburgers, pizza and pasta are hallmark choices for lunch in the buffet. Means in the dining room was also marked by a lack of choices that existed in the past. The wait staff tried their best to accommodate and provide great service. The ship was crowded with children, over 700, with half under the age of 3. Where ever you went on the ship, you were assaulted by screeching and children running wild. Parents brought children to shows clearly marked for mature audiences, and everyone had to listen to them cry during the performance. Children were brought into adults only areas, and allowed to run wild. Crew did little to control them. We spent time in the 270 lounge, watching young children climb on audio speakers! the crew tried their best to provide service, but it was a challenge. We enjoyed the entertainment, minus the crying children. And it was alarming to find there was an outbreak of norovirus. This occurred on our previous experience on the Anthem. There seems to be an issue with the ship. We were not impressed the the main activities on the sea days being "sales" of inferior merchandise.
The cabin was large and spacious. Lots of space to put things
Private RCCL beach. Well maintained, lots of chairs and facilities. It was crowded and lines for lunch were way too long
Long line of traffic getting to the pier.
