Traveled with children

I am a carnival platinum.I wanted to try the newest ship.We were traveling with our family of 5 and a friends family of 7.

Let's start with boarding.... Not a happy person to be found. It felt very sterile.more like the airport. My children are not platinum but in another room. They have always boarded with me.I even paid for faster to the fun for them before and was told not to do that as they wouldnt split me from my kids. This time I was told :well this is the Vista!" and no my kids wernt coming with me.I asked could we atleast go in together and make sure everything goes ok before we separate? I was told yes but thats it.

Our rooms, I called my normal person and was told harbour is what I needed with my teen.I paid extra to be on deck 2 for my teen.I hate deck 2!! I love lido but hey if this is what is bedt for my teen and our friends teen let's do it!Wrong!! It was nothing more than toddler haven!!! Screaming crying toddlers everywhere!!! One little boy sat crying and screaming in the loungeHe was coughing and sick! Before I could move he coughed and spit went flying... I spent the rest of my cruise in my cabin sick.Oh and listening to running.screaming, toddlers,
