Absolutely loved the two week Caribbean cruise. The flight, transfer and check in was great - we didn't have to queue long to get on board. The all inclusive package was brilliant and we were able to get anything we wanted including Baileys. Our cabin was fine - the shower was a bit small and I didn't like the shower curtain but we decided not to upgrade this year as we didn't spend much time there.

The ship was spotlessly clean and I often saw staff cleaning. We loved the atrium and theatre. The entertainment was fantastic - we didn't go to shows every night but enjoyed the ones we did go to. We loved the quizzes and game shows which were very professional. We even frequented the disco on a few nights.

We did our own thing off the ship so can't comment on Thompson excursions. Our favourites were water taxi to beach in Grenada, trip booked in port around Dominica (it was 25 dollars but there were hidden extras of entrance fee to rainforest park and tip for guide who was independent to company. However she was fantastic and we were happy to pay), Carlisle beach in Barbados (we got taxi to Harbour Lights and it was 20 dollars for sunbed, umbrella and boat trip to snorkel and swim with turtles), open mini bus to beach in St Kitts, trip booked with Cosol Tours in St Lucia before we went (70 dollars seems expensive but it is well worth it - you get collected outside the port and taken all over the island with lunch, drinks and a boat trip included) and lastly the lovely beach in Antigua. Didn't like Martinique and Guadalupe as much as other islands but this may have been due to what we decided to do on those days. Also beach that Water taxi takes you to in St Vincent is not very nice. We read the flier available from reception each night which tells you info on things to do for the next day.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside

The cabin was clean and comfy. It was a little small as there is not room for 2 lockers on either side of bed. The shower is a bit small and the shower curtain can be a bit clingy. All in all it was fine and met our needs as we had decided not to upgrade.
