We chose this cruise because of the value and booked through Costco. They have the best deals and their customer service is impeccable. We always travel on Royal Caribbean due the fact that we are Diamond level and receive perks. I must say all the workers in the diningroom, stateroom, bars etc are the hardest most dedicated workers I have ever met. They made our vacation the best. The biggest issue we have with Royal recently is their food quality has really suffered. The diningroom had no steaks on the first formal night only chicken and pork etc. they always had primerib or a steak in the past. The windjammer used to have fresh sliced roast beef and now only turkey or pork, seems they are going the cheap route. Also so many Indian dishes and just weird combinations. Sometimes it was hard to find anything to order in the diningroom or Windjammer and all the food is soooo heavily salted some of it was not edible. Park Avenue was the best for lunch and breakfast great soups, salads and sandwiches. We did eat at Chops and was great as usual but we had a communication issue with are waiter. Are biggest issue is the wine selection it seemed they were out of a lot of wines on the menu but always seemed to have the $90 dollar bottles. We always have a great cruise, its just what we enjoy and the staff is always top notch.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin FB

I would pick this cabin again. It is in the front but close to the exit and the Solarium is just a few floors straight up and you can get breakfast or lunch their as well. The closets are smaller than freedom class but still plenty of room. This room has the bed by the balcony door and gives you more room to get in and out of closet. Our last room on Allure the bed was by the closet and its just too tight. I would check this out before booking again on a large ship.
