This is the first time that we have been Haven (10912) guests on Norwegian. This was a nice cruise but Norwegian needs to fix some things. The cabin boys leave their carts in the hallway, instead of bringing them closer to the room that they are cleaning, & I had to move them several times to allow my husband to go by with his scooter-this was a pain! Getting on the ship was horrible! The car service had to drop us off at the pier & leave because you can't keep the car there. I ran inside to try to get a wheelchair to bring my husband in. The scooter was not there that I had made arrangement for. The customer service rep inside refused to let me borrow a wheelchair to get my husband from the pier & she had a load of them piled up-she should be fired! My husband was standing at the pier for a very long time when I was ab;e to talk someone into bringing my husband in via wheelchair. I let our concierge know about how nervous I was about how the departure would be & he made sure that everything went smoothly & someone took my husband in a wheelchair all the way to where we were picked up-this was a relief but I spent the whole cruise worried about it! The cabin boy was lazy, we had to ask multiple times for ice and he was rude calling us "Mommy" & "Daddy" all the time! I asked him if he could open the bottle of champagne and he tol me it was a screw top-it was not! Rock of Ages was great! Cirque was very good. Food in Haven restaurant was excellent! Cagneys was not good-steak was tough. Teppanakki was just okay. La Cucina was very, very good. In site of having the "liquor package" , they charge tax on what you drink and they charged for Pellegrino even though my husband did not have any liquor. You would think that Haven guests would be treated better than this. You just feel like they "nickel & dime" you on the cruise. In spite of this, it was a nice cruise but Norwegian needs to fix a few things, especially the embarkation process & timing for Haven/disabled guests.
