MSC Orchestra Cruise Review by Verco: Majority of staff ignorant, bad mannered and untrained

Majority of staff ignorant, bad mannered and untrained
Destination: Baltic Sea
We have never met such bad manners and ignorance in any service sector in the world. The staff would bump into you and certainly not stand aside, where appropriate (except cabin staff). Any queries or requests for assistance were met with discontent and dissent. Their attitude was appaling and argumentative. They were dismissive to us and fellow passengers, who were equally dismayed with their totally unprofessional approach. Entertainment staff were friendly and well mannered. Our waiters (2) were nice, but very inefficient and untrained.
The food was varied and tasty, but invariable pre-plated and overheated or overcooked. In the buffet, the staff were snappy and short tempered. Drinks dispensers and issue of plates/cutlery were sometimes manned and the staff were snapping at everyone.
There was no outside entertainmet provided, except for deck games.
Cleaning left a lot to be desired.
I dropped sunglasses More (Ray Bans) going through security boarding at Tallin. A fellow passenger told us she saw a passenger hand them to security at the check-in. They denied it and gave us abuse calling the informant a liar. This involved senior staff.
We were some of many who went to the cashier asking for deletion of the standard service charge. They refused to do so until you signed a form and were quite ignorant with my wife until she did so. We prefer to tip separately for good service. Our water and cabin crew were so tipped.
There is no excuse for passengers being abused by staff. Their approach is that the customer is always wrong and certainly not of any importance.
We would never sail with this line again.
