We have cruised several times on Celebrity and this was our third time on the Equinox.

We had a stateroom on DECK 3 and were up most nights due to a banging noise in the middle of the night. Guest relations kept trying to find the cause but were unsuccessful.

They finally moved us for the last three nights to an upper deck which was quite nice and QUIET. We also noticed that the stateroom attendant no longer had an aid and it was taking all day for him to make up the rooms. The quality of the food in the main dining room ranged from poor, almost all beef choices, to good pasta dishes, and excellent for shrimp dishes. Forget scallops at any meal, not unless you like to chew rubber. Service quality was inconsistent, some nights good, others like they had no idea you had been at their table several times before.Beverage service at the Oceanview Cafe was aggravating, trying to find a waiter for bar beverages was a chore. The production stage shows at night were terrible as usual, the small group performers in the bars and lounges were excellent as well as a couple, only a couple, of the guest performers. The stage shows are full of gaudy costumes and effects that try to mask how poorly these shows are put together.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 8

Initial cabin was fine except for the unexplained night time banging.
