We chose this cruise to celebrate my parents 65th Wedding Anniversary. 24 family members were traveling for this wonderful occasion. The Allure was a big disappointment. Yes, it is very beautiful to look at and it has many great activities and shows, but the quality of service was terrible. We had problems with our cabin that had to be fixed repeatedly. We had to ask for shampoo, conditioner, tissues, etc. The dining service was really lacking. You can't reach Guest Relations by phone, they never answer, and trying to talk to them in person means waiting on an hour line. We were really looking forward to the OceanAria show. The night of our reservation the show was cancelled due to technical difficulties, totally understandable. The next night we waited to see the show for an hour, to find out that they had to cancel due to weather conditions, understandable, but why keep us waiting an hour to find out. But our real frustration came with the photo center. Since we were celebrating an anniversary we wanted to buy many pictures. Travelers beware! Many of our pictures didn't make it into our folders, but other travelers pictures did. The photography staff were out right rude about helping us with picture packages. I couldn't buy the digital package of my family if I wasn't in the picture, so I couldn't add a picture of my grand children to my digital package because I wasn't in the picture. That had me steaming. They actually lost money on me because they made the whole process so difficult. Bigger isn't better. Stay away from the Allure
