We arrived on the ship at about 1:30. Our stateroom was already ready to go, although our bags took a while to get to us. The staff at Long Beach were great and got us on board very very fast. Cabin- We booked last minute and got an inside room. We did not realize nor were we told that our room was going to have two single beds that were bunk beds. When we got over that, we realized that the room was spacious but very cold (by the way the air conditioning panel is in the middle of the room on the ceiling, so short people beware.) , dark and smelled horrible. In fact the whole shipped smelled like a toilet when we first arrived. Overall our cabin gets a C-.Ship- This ship is older, and smaller then most other cruises that I have been on. The space was tight, but the staff did keep the ship very clean. B+Pools/Hot tubs- While we did not spend much time here due to weather they were well maintained and the kids seemed to LOVE the pool slide. A Dining- Well, The food was pretty good. The buffet in the morning was smaller but it filled you up just fine. The Elation Dining room had great service. We had open seating and had to wait a lot to be sat. But it was a trade off for getting our own table. The food was pretty good but don't order a bar drink because it will take forever to get it to you. Paris Dining was good at the meal times but the late night service was sort of gross. The pizza parlor was nice even though they got too creative on some of the choices :) A for diningRoom Service- sucked. They never got our order right not once, and took an hour and a half to bring us a couple of sandwiches. F-Shows- The comedians are amazing and soooooo funny! The dancers were good as well. A+ Staff- Our cabin staff was fantastic! Cute towel animals too. A++The information desk staff was horrible. We had many issues with them. On our second day they made us switch cabins due to work orders . We agreed to do so and almost missed our excursion. They refused to upgrade our state room or do anything for our troubles. One of the women even started to give us other room options when the main woman came over and lied and said the ship was totally booked and the only open room would be the one next to us. It was very disheartening to be treated that way. FDining room attendants were good. Not as friendly as on other ships but did their jobs well and had a smile on their face. B+Bar staff- Great people, good drinks, very friendly! ACasino Staff- Great group. Very friendly perfect for first time gamblers :) A+Bars and Clubs- Everywhere we went was kind of empty. The "young adult" club (18-25 years) was the only one on the ship that had people in it most nights and it was filled with 18 year old HS graduates that came on as a group...It was ok. We ended up in the casino most of the time because that's where everyone else seemed to be. C-Spa- Good prices, I had a great massage. AFitness center- Smaller but gets the job done. Free Sauna and Steam room are a huge plus. A+++Minigolf- Got boring but was fun the first round. AAll in all it was just ok... We decided that while we had heard great things about Carnival, So  far Norweigan and Royal Carribean were much nicer choices. ** There was no music by the pool or party on the day we left, and no fancy midnight desert bar that almost all other lines have.  :(
