My in laws missed our wedding five years ago because my father in law was very ill, so we decided to renew our wedding vows on our five year anniversary this year and invite them along so they could actually see us get married this time.

Booking the vow renewal was extremely easy and straightforward with the Carnival Weddings department. Once on the ship, Carina our vow renewal planner, was absolutely a gem. She made sure our renewal was perfect. The Captain officiated, the cake and champagne were delicious and, both during and after the ceremony, the photographer took amazing pictures (although a package for all our photos would have cost nearly $1400, we chose to buy ten of our favorites). I would highly recommend anyone considering a vow renewal with Carnival to go for it!.

As for our cruise, we recently moved from Florida (we were pretty spoiled as far as ports go) to Arizona and like being able to drive to our ports so we chose to take a short 4-day cruise out of Long Beach. Embarkation was a breeze and the newly dry-docked/renovated ship was amazing. Loved Guys Burgers, Alchemy Bar, and Blue Iguana.

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

Average Ocean View Cabin. Only two months out of dry dock though and the bathroom looked brand new.

Port Reviews

Embarkation was excellent. Stayed in Long Beach the day prior to the cruise and went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. It was amazing! higly recommend visiting the aquarium before or after your cruise. They let you pet sharks!!!
