Great cruise on the Valor with a few exceptions. I have been on more than a dozen cruises and I can say without a doubt, that even a bad cruise beats being at work, lol!! This was meant to be a relaxing get away during the crunch of the holidays and it did not disappoint.

Ship-The Valor has a presidential theme which I thought was a little weird for a cruise ship in the Caribbean, but it wasn't so much in your face so it was fine. The ship was decorated for Christmas which was nice but they did a lot of holiday themed activities like an ugly sweater contest and caroling. Not really my form of entertainment but they seemed well attended. The ship is easy enough to navigate if you don't forget that mid ship is blocked off by the galley so you need to go up or down one deck to get through.

Cabin-We stayed on the Riviera Deck almost all the way in the back of the ship. It was a nice cabin and our room steward, John, was great. Twice a day service in case anyone has heard that they are cutting back to one. No mints but I never ate them anyway. Cute towel animals that he left every night so by the last night we had quite a collection. DO NOT stay in this part of the ship if you like to sleep in. It was extremely loud and the whole cabin shook when we docked.
