Our Princess cruise was the absolute best. It was the best because the entertainment and activities really got us engaged. I tried the Zumba on a recommendation from a lady who goes to my gym and has been on this cruise. It was fun to try and do the Zumba moves while the swells of the ocean rocked the ship. We all had so much fun, and enjoyed getting to know each other. Then, we would run into each other at many of the other events offered to the guests. The Happy Hour drinks {at both afternoon and evening events} were weak and must have been watered down. We couldn't believe it, and tried to enjoy the drinks many different times. The dance club was great. All different kinds of music that anyone could get up and dance to. The DJ was excellent! We met people and enjoyed conversations and sharing the holidays together. Our shore excursion got us off the ship into a nice bus with a wonderful tour guide. From the minute we met our guide he was friendly and super informative about the area and the history and culture.
This cruise will never be forgotten! The staff was wonderful and didn't miss a beat. This was our first Princess cruise and I feel despite the circumstances {ship needed repair & we had to fly home}, we were able to have some leisure time, see some beautiful scenery and re-energize.
Loved the cabin. I enjoyed our room steward Enrique Vargas. He was very polite and attentive to our every need. He did a marvelous job. If I were to make a recommendation, I would like a privacy curtain separating the door opening. This would be so one of us could be standing with the door open while the other was still getting ready. Also, a vanity/ desk drawer in front of the chair would be helpful in the cabin. I found our cabin spacious and this was the biggest in room shower I've ever had. Thank you, it was great!
