We picked this repositioning cruise because of the fantastic itinerary...Dubai to Singapore, via India & yes, it was great!

Not so good was our mini suite, painstakingly chosen to try & avoid the noise from Deck 12 above. Sadly, 11578 & I would suspect all the suites in that vicinity, was not ideal. All day & well into the evening we had the sounds of scrapping chairs & footsteps loudly above us! Worst of all though was the deck chairs being put out between 3.30 & 4.30am every morning & they weren't quiet about it! It is hard to know where on Deck 11 you could escape this noise as right beside the pool area was the main Market Café which would make for its own problems if you were underneath it. We did talk with a couple who were in a mini suite right at the front of the ship & they reported it was quiet.

The suite itself was not huge & was showing signs of age & wear & tear, definitely due for a serious revamp! Storage was okay but not as efficient as other cruise ships we have been on. Other reviews mention the dark wardrobe & the main storage shelves tugged away in there & yes, this is a pain! There are only 2 draws in the cabin for storage. Having the extra space with the little seating area & sofa was great as was the bath & separate toilet in the bathroom.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Very noisy from Deck 12 above with chairs scrapping loudly, footsteps all day & well into the night, bassy music from the pool area on sea days. Deck chairs being put out every morning between 3.30am & 4.30am was horrendous & would last for anything up to 30mins! Suite itself was okay but old & worn, always very clean thanks to our lovely steward. Balcony a good size & had 2 chairs & a little table on it. For us the noise from above spoilt it I'm afraid & we would suggest you are wary of this, flag the mini suite & just consider a balcony cabin on deck 10 instead!. :-)
