We are fast becoming Sky aficionados! After a great trip in July we followed up with another great trip in December. While we were not able to stop at Stirrup Cay due to weather conditions, we still had a great trip with an unplanned day at sea and extended time in Nassau. As kids were in school, there were not nearly as many kids on this trip as there were in the summer, but still enough for my son to play with and have fun in the Splash Academy. While he played, we once again used the upgraded dining package to enjoy some great meals at Il Adagio, Cagneys, and Le Bistro. Also had fun watching football in the Longboard Bar and eating some sushi.

One change we did make is to move up from an oceanview to Aft Balcony and what a difference. As my DH says once you go Aft, you can never go back.

We also did some personal trips to the Pirate Museum and John Watling Rum Distillery -- great places for a visit.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

Awesome! Great views, balcony was a perfect size -- so relaxing, and room was average but perfectly acceptable for a weekend. We will absolutely get an Aft balcony again!

Port Reviews

Miami

Miami is a big port, but it is well run, easy to get around, and staffed by great people. Only thing is we are glad we drove in and spent the night, traffic in South FL is crazy and it was so much better to get it over with the night before than be stressed out the day of.

Nassau

Spent extra day in Nassau as the weather would not permit a visit to Stirrup Cay. Did some Christmas shopping on Saturday--prices are better online than in the stores so we did more window shopping than actual purchases. On Sunday we went to the Pirates Museum and John Watling's Rum Distillery. LOVED them both. Easy walk from the port and great fun!
