We had a great time, experience-wise on this cruise, despite the condition of the ship.

Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and timely. The shuttles, porters, and other shore-side staff were wonderfully helpful on both ends.

The food was generally delicious, but has gone downhill since my last cruise. Every "fancy" dessert seemed to have been fortified with gelatin, and I learned to shun anything with the words "mousse", "gateau", and several other descriptors, as these all meant gelatinous, flavorless, and altogether too-stiff goop. This also included a brulee, which left even our kids scratching their heads.

Cabin IF

The cabin was about what we expected. Four small-ish beds, suitable for one person apiece. Perfectly cozy sleeping arrangements. The sheets had tears, and the remote was missing its back (replaced with a band-aid), but the fridge worked, and the AC was mostly reliable.

Mold in the bathrooms was persistent, despite attention from steward, likely due to the leaky ceiling. Service was impeccable, though. Jel is my favorite room steward ever.
