Main reason, PRICE. Age range of passengers, 75 to 90. Food, going down hill from past Princess cruises. Menus repeated every 4 days and very boring. Lots of sick passengers spreading disease to others. Rough seas every day. Many falls and serious injuries. Difficulty getting around, especially due to many, many wheelchairs and walkers. Medical unit charging inflated price for seasickness remedies.
It appears the quality on Princess Cruises is going down, but the prices for some things are getting much higher without much improvement. The personnel working on the ship are an exception. Great service and entertainment, except for a bad magic act.
Ports were good for the most part. tours booked from Princess were much to expensive, so most passengers went on ther own.
Shorted hair dryer could have caused a fire or serious injury and was never replaced for the entire cruise.
One of the better ports. Not as commercial as Honolulu, but still the feel of old Hawaii.
