Chose this cruise as the itinerary was great as was the price. Turned out a great destinations cruise and the ship was great too but it was nothing short of a floating Benidorm. Where did so many slovenly ill mannered people come from, first time experiencing this type of fellow passenger. One woman had her shoes and socks off in the bar with her feet up on the seat, others looked as though they had just come in from a hard days gardening. If you wish to call me a snob then I'll happily accept it if this is the kind of people I am expected to cruise with. Must have been down to the cost of the cruise which was indeed cheap.

Embarkation was a dream, straight on board and even straight to our cabin where the luggage was already waiting, then for an afternoon snack to keep us going until dinner, plenty of choice too. The café provides a reasonable place to eat but nothing exciting, usual mundane stuff.

Ship was decorated with lots of Christmas trees and tinsel but for a festive cruise that was all, no Christmas music anywhere, no theatre productions to embrace the season and not even a Christmas evening meal was provided. At least a cracker on the table on the final evening would have been nice with some festive food. The food in general on P & O is nothing short of boring and bland but I suppose that adheres to the British passengers.
