We've been on many Celebrity cruises. They excel in staff friendliness, cleanliness of the ship, crowd management. Unfortunately, there has been significant and on-going cost cutting on every cruise including reducing staff so the remaining folks are friendly but stressed. Food quality and food choices have significantly deteriorated although our last cruise would indicate that perhaps they are trying to improve in that area. The shows are at best mediocre although the individual performers are sometimes good to excellent. While they have an excellent drink selection, you often have to find a bar that has what you want...if you are drinking premium liquors. Many of the activities listed each day are sales events by the stores, spa or other....the activities staff has been cut to maybe 2 people. "lawn open for games" is not an activity...nor is the chocolate diamond grand opening sale. I think Celebrity is still the best of the mass market cruise lines...but they are all trying to find ways to squeeze costs without passengers giving up.
