Boarding in Singapore was very good. There was minimal queuing coming through check-in, immigration, customs etc.

We found our room pretty much by accident (right outside the lift we happened to get into) as there were no staff pointing us anywhere. We noticed that after a couple of days, staff were suddenly smiling at you and saying good morning, evening etc. Very different from the first days where they generally avoided eye contact.

And the first impression of the ship - cabin door is locked, and Seapass cards are inside! Luckily we found a room steward going past who was kind enough to open the door. Our friend waited in a queue at guest services for an hour to ask for someone to come and open their door. Our junior spa suite (was I wrong to expect an actual spa bath) was very comfortable. But it lacked any information such as a map of the ship, phone numbers, locations of anything. No pen or paper. Mini-bar and breakfast order forms appeared after a few days. TV was abysmal and repetitive (including channels to sell excursions, future cruises and extras such as massages, etc). For a technically advanced ship this is not on. But there were movies to watch. The few free (read old) ones were removed after a few days, leaving paying $US11.99 the only option.
