We chose this cruise as we did the oasis last year, i was very disappointed with the allure. The food selection was average at best in the dinning room. Had breakfast twice and my oatmeal was cold, i had to ask for things twice and they never even refilled our coffee. Then we did the windjammer on the 2 ports of call that came in at 7pm (jamaica and cozumel) they only had half the windjammer opened and it was crazy people everywhere and no where to sit. Not enough food, people were waiting in lines for over 15mins for the staff to refill the food, we had to find someone and advised them of the situation. Never have i seen this before, mind you i am not a picky person, but this was unexceptionable for a large ship not to be able to handle this basic function. A lot of the house phones did not work or you could not hear out of them. We ate at giovanni's and i was not impressed with the menu. We did it on the oasis last year and it was much better. Expected a better selection and better food. Our cabin was great, room stewart was on point. We miss getting off ocho rios much more to do and easier to get a round, do not like famouth, to us it is more of a port just for shopping. We did the slot tournament which was fun, it gave out a free cruise for first but nothing for 2nd or 3rd, at least a shirt. I asked the casino host as some people re bought well over 3 times, he shrugged his shoulder and didn't seem to care. It is a beautiful ship and the aqua and ice show were awesome. Enjoyed dancing in boleros.
