Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Interior Stateroom

We did book this cruise because of its departure date and itinerary were compatible with a preceding Princess cruise to New Zealand.

Although we knew from previews that the atmosphere would be more like a party ship (what we do not really like), reality was yet a big disappointment.

Even before the cruise started we had the first disappointment when we got an e-mail telling us that one of the scheduled port days was skipped and replaced by a sea day, making the ratio of sea days even higher (appx 60%). Compensation was refused.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

The most positive aspect of the ship are the relatively spacious and well-furnished staterooms.

I hate to think of having booked a cabin overlooking the Royal Broadway (luckily we didn't).

Port Reviews

Mystery Island

Really a waste of time for those not interested in beach life, snorkeling

Lautoka

Pickup by shuttle bus from the ship.

Drive along the North coast of Fiji: mainly along sugarcane fields. Near the N.Eastern point the scenery becomes a bit more mountainious.

Unfortunately our car was not suited to go more inland which would probaly have been more intersting. A car with high clearing is required to do so.

Sydney (Australia)

Self guided walks to the Rocks, Downtown and Darling Harbour.

Ferry cruise to Manly.
