Price was very good. ( Please see comments on casino in cabin review area.) The ship is very large 4222 passengers and approx 1300 crew, but did not feel crowded at all.

Entertainment was varied and was very good. Food was excellent ...are in Horizon Court/Bistro during the day and in Concerto Dining room for dinners. The food in Concerto was fabulous...in quality and variety. Wait staff were wonderful. Had some fantastic pizza in Allegros. Lots of places to sit and take in the outside view. We have sailed mostly Norwegian in the past, plus 2 on Holland Ametica. The food on this cruise was better than Norwegian, and comparable to HAL. Noticed very few kids...the passengers were primarily upwards of 40/45 years old I would guess. Boutiques were okay...the usual jewellery stores and a large one selling purses, souvenirs, health aids, clothing, candy, designer sunglasses, etc Prices are okay...since we are from Canada, had to remember the prices in US dollars were still not necessarily a good buy for us. They had the usual pop up sales such as rings, t-shirts etc. Staff throughout the ship were professional and friendly. Liked the fact that there were no pushy sales of raffle tickets, such as we have experienced on Norwegian. We are booked for the same cruise on Jan 29th, this time bringing my Mom and Aunt (who have sailed with us several times). We also decided to do the future cruise purchase... $200 deposit and will get $150 EACH on board credit (based on balcony) on whatever cruise we book. All in all we loved the cruise, the ship, and Princess.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DB

Thank goodness we had the 2 seater sofabed, or the cabin would have felt small. The balcony is not as big as we have had on other lines.(..especially the verandah on holland america...they are fantastic.) The casino was nice...even though smoking is allowed we did not have an issue, except when a smoker sat right next to us. They also had 3 nights where effective 5pm there was no smoking throughout the casino...much appreciated by us non smokers!
