Rhapsody of the Seas, Dec. 10-17

Flew from a 30 degree day in Philly to a chilly 56 degree day in Tampa. The flight was buttery smooth and we arrived about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. After a short taxi ride to the Marriott Waterside Hotel, we were “home” and began our vacation. First stop was Ybor City to eat at the famous Columbia Restaurant. I’ve seen this place featured on food and travel channels and just had to see for myself. Wow! The food was simply awesome and the service, impeccable. Even at 3:30 PM, the place was busy and could only imagine how packed it would become at dinner time. Once again, it was a blast riding the HART trolley from the Channel District up to Ybor City. This is a must do thing if you’re ever in Tampa! If we had another day to spend, we’d take in the Florida Aquarium and Dali museum. Maybe next time?
