Went with friends. First two week cruise we have been on. Had prepaid drink package. Impressed. They had top of the line liquor. When we sailed Celebrity we had to do an up charge for better grade liquor. Our room steward Joseph was wonderful. He kept every thing clean and comfortable. The meals and food were fantastic. A little disappointed that both dining rooms served the same menu. We did two specialty restaurants while aboard and were wonderful fine dining. The entertainment was impressive. Since I,m a musician myself, I was so impressed with the house orchestra. They were superb. And the comedians were so dang funny. Sean O,Shea.......he should be in Vegas. He is that good. We loved him.......so funny and such a beautiful voice. We had many good people throughout the cruise. To name a few.....Ricky and Gary....our wait staff in the dining room. They were wonderful. Felt like a queen being served. They couldn't,t do enough to accommodate us. Always so pleasant. I liked most about the ship - even though it was an older ship- it was so clean. And all the employees were nest and clean. That says a lot about management.
When we would disembark at each port, the process was orderly . W were very impressed by that.
We had an issue with the ship about a day and a half returning to San Francisco and we had to turn around and go back to Honolulu. The staff and Princess company did a miraculous job of getting everyone flights home from Honolulu. We had an extra day in Honolulu and made the best of it.
I don,t know what kind of balcony we had, but it was great. Will never travel without balcony. Joseph, our attendant kept us clean and comfortable. What a pleasant and hardworking young man.....
