Embarkation:  We didn't have any problems at all.  There was more than enough personnel at Canada Place to help with any questions.    We lined up in a very long queue but it went very fast and we were on the ship within 15 min.   We then went to the Seven Seas for a yummy lunch and stayed on the pool deck until we were able to get into our rooms around 1:30 PM.   A quick unpacking and we headed up to the pool deck again for the send-off party.  Don't miss sailing under the Lion's Gate Bridge.  The same architect as the Golden Gate built it and although it's smaller it is an impressive photo op.

Cabin:  We've cruised a few times before and realize that space is at a premium so were pleasantly surprised to find there was more than enough storage for the two of us. The suitcases fit nicely under the bed.   The room was clean and although the bathroom was big enough the hair dryers weren't that hot.  The bed was amazingly comfortable and our stewards also did an amazing job keeping the room neat, tidy and the ice bucket filled.   We tipped them each an extra $40 for doing such a good job.   We wanted for nothing.

Dining:  We avoided the buffet mostly although it was very good the couple of times we ate there. However, no place to sit inside.  We breakfasted in the Four Seasons (balcony room category and up only) which was a nice little perk. Never had to wait for a table.  Good service and hot food along with a little buffet set up with cold cuts, kippers, smoked salmon, fruits, breakfast rolls and muffins.   I found the juices to be good even though not freshly squeezed.  Desserts are to die for especially the crème brulee with chocolate ganache in the Seven Seas.  And don't miss the chocolate buffet either. Room service was very prompt especially if you tipped them an extra couple of bucks.  They bent over backward.   Las Ramblas was great for tapas and sangria or beer.  However, I do hope they deep six the potato omelet slices.

Cabin 8261:  Located aft near the elevators and stairs.  One flight down to the shops and casino.  Another flight down to the Seven Seas main dining room.  Quiet.  Comfortable bed.  Has a smallish sofa bed.  Good size closet with 4 medium size bins. Shelves and 7 large drawers for clothes, etc. Balcony was comfortable for 2 but very tight for 4 guests.
