Very good time of year to go to the Mediterranean...starting at the end of August and ending in mid-September. Weather was perfect. Princess was the consummate host. We greatly enjoyed the food and the variety of ports we went to. The entertainment on board has gotten better and the service continues to be exceptional. I would recommend the itinerary we took to anyone looking to see a variety of different ports in the Mediterranean, at a fair and competitive price. The highlights of the cruise included Santorini, Montenegro, Barcellona, Florence and Rome, although there were at least 5 other ports. The quality of the food was quite good. We took advantage of the fine dining options twice and enjoyed the food and service immensely. We are seasoned travelers who keep coming back to Princess due to the loyalty rewards programs they offer, which are some of the best in the industry.
