Spotless, well serviced. Stable in choppy seas. Nearby to elevators. All requests were promptly acted upon.

The Viator St Martin 5 hr Island tour was great and we saw a lot; however, the lack of urgency in getting us back to the ship on time was CRIMINAL. Every layer of representation: Viator, Two Island Excursions (TIE), the TIE port representative and our guide (Lucas) were informed that we had to be back by 1400 for a 1430 boarding time. We were returned to the parking lot at 1432 (over 1/3rd mi from our ship) and by the time we RAN to the ship we had been removed from the manifest and they were in the process of pulling the gangplank. Luckily we were able to talk our way onboard; however Viator needs to realize that Lucas showed a COMPLETE disregard of time--even though he was reminded of it throughout the tour. Had we missed the ship the thousands of dollars that it would have cost to fly to our next port (FLL) and the fact that we would have missed two days of our cruise is INEXCUSABLE!!

Afternoon tea was more enjoyable with trays of selections on the table, though we did miss the High and Indonesian Teas (think they've fell to the cost cutting)

All in all it was a great cruise.HAL's cutting some corners: No more High Tea or Capt's Reception.
