We're in our early 60's and usually cruise on Princess or Holland but this cruise was so convenient for us since we live in Orlanda area and price was right. Embarkation process was slow and seemed disorganized but everything was fine once we got on the ship. We thought our timing would be good, before most schools were out, but there were alot of families, kids and teens.   I knew it was an older ship but it was recently refrubished and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice everthing was.  Our room was comfortable, bathroom recently redone and fixtures- shower were new and everything was very clean. Cabin steward did a good job although our room is always neat. Walking down the hallway and seeing the condition of some of the rooms, I couldn't believe how trashed they were. There was usually quite a bit of activity in the hallway until well after 2-3am . Pool area was nice with comfortable lounges and we never had a problem finding a chair. The serenity area (aft - adults only) had very nice padded lounge chairs, nice plush towels.  Only problem was one day there were several loud obnixous people there for most of the day.We ate in the Dining Room everynite and for the most part had very good meals.  Most people didn't really dress up even for the one formal nite.  Sushi bar looked wonderful but seemed crowded and since we had early dining I didn't get a chance to try it but looking around at the tables of people eating it looked really good and nice presentation. Spent time in the casino. I took one of the ships snorkle tours in Freeport and was well worth the $50 cost. We were at the reef for about 1 1/2 and fish were everywhere.  In Nassau we took a taxi to Atlantis in the evening. Went to most of the evening shows the they were entertaining. Surprised that one evening called "Adult show" how many people brought young kids. Disembarkation went smoothly as we took our bags off with us.We did feel waite staff was quite pushy with drinks at pool, shows and casino. In addition I thought drinks were pricey.   Overall we had a good time and will try Carnival again
