Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony
Last year at this time, we took the 11 day cruise on Serenade of the Seas, rating it an A. This year's 10 day cruise doesn't rate above a C. Last year's WOW has evaporated.
On the positive side, the ship was clean, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive, but grossly overworked. Our room attendant was superior. The Concierge Lounge and its entire staff were superb.
On the negative side, we have experienced numerous disappointments comparing both cruises. Docking twice in industrial/cargo areas was unacceptable. Dining room food choice and quality have noticeably diminished.
