Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We selected this cruise to experience a new ship more than any other reason. The itinerary was good, many sea days better. Overall the ship was impressive and it was nice that it still had that new ship smell but I am getting ahead of myself.

We usually prefer Celebrity and have achieved Elite status, which translates to Platinum with Royal Caribbean. This is relevant as Celebrity seems to look after loyalty members quite well with lots of perks. Also interesting is that they are the same company but the actual processes and systems on board as so different.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

The cabin was spacious enough and tastefully decorated. It did have quite a few creaks and groans, as well as being subject to the noise of people (probably children) running along the corridor on deck 13.

2 USB charging points where handy and otherwise a few US style power points. Very limited amenities provided. Only soap, body wash, tea bags and sugar. Not even tissues.

There was a kettle.

The balcony had two sun chairs with foot rests that where very comfortable.
