We drove to Port Canaveral a day early and stayed at The Sleep Inn, they allowed us to park our car during the cruise and transported us both ways to and from the port. Excellent service got us off to a great start. The Check in folks at Port Canaveral have got it down. Quick, efficent and on the ship. Carnival used hand held computers to check us on and off the ship speeding up things quite a lot. From the time we got off the Hotel's bus and passed off our luggage to the handlers to the time we were in our stateroom was less than 30 minutes. Of course we arrived when we were supposed to not to early and having to wait until they were ready. The ship had a makeover a few years ago and it shows. Everything was clean and uncluttered. They had decorated for Christmas so that was very nice. My husband like our private dining so I had to request a table for two after we got on the ship. That was handled in a timely manner with out any problems. We had early dining and the food was excellent, good selection and plenty to eat. Guy's burgers was outstanding and the pizza always a hit. We really liked the movies under the stars, "Cruise In" Watching movies on the big screen on Lido deck was a nice surprise. The comedy club was good, except one of the comedians failed to make the ship in Roatan. Limited the comedy for the last few days.

There were very high winds and we were forced to miss our stop in Costa Maya this gave us an extra day at sea. We were running into the wind the entire trip back so the ship was actually quite smooth, little motion at all.

The service was outstanding our room steward was great. handled all request and kept our room spotless . The only thing I noticed about the cabin was the mirrors backing seams to be coming off and it makes the mirrors in the room portion of the cabin look bad. They should be replaced but they are not dangerous just look bad. We took on Excursion the top 10 of Belize and it was great, the guides Dillon and Antony know their stuff, very enjoyable and knowledgeable. Getting off the ship was just as easy. we handled our own ludgage and when cleard it took 20 minutes and we were off heading to our transport back to the hotel. They were standing by at the location they told us to meet them and we were in our car heading home by 8:30am. Not bad.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

Good Cabin, plenty of room. Balcony standard. Has large couch that could be used for a 3rd person. the mirror in the main cabin needs to be replaced. some of the shiny backing is coming off and it makes the mirror look scared, its not broken just scared. Two twins together to make King, VERY comfortable. Very comfortable cabin.
