We chose this cruise because we got it free through the casino. I had been warned that the plumbing clogged up and the rooms we warm. We boarded the ship as soon as they let us on. The boarding process was very easy. We are platinum on latitudes. They had a special lounge for platinum and above. The only problem was when we got to the boarding area. My husband told the guy we were platinum. He told us to go stand in this long line where there were no seats. Just standing room only. I finally flagged down an attendant and he personally took us to the latitude lounge. The suites boarded first and then we boarded. We were on board by 11:00.

The only place open for lunch was The Windjammer. As usual on the first day it was a mad house. After lunch I went to find a bathroom. Only to my surprise to be told that all the bathrooms on board were closed. They said that the plumbing was clogged and they had to wait for an engineer to come at 1:00 to unclog them. I WAS HORRIFIED!! What a horrible way to start your vacation! I though that all the horrible reviews that I had seen were true! Then strolling through the casino I saw all the portable air conditioners, so I knew to expect it to be hot! We got into our room at 1:00. The toilets had been fixed and we didn't have any plumbing problems the rest of the time. I room was a little hot, but we closed the blinds and the helped. The rooms are extremely small and there is little storage. I would hate to have more than 2 people in the room. The showers are extremely small and you only have a shower curtain, not the glass doors that are on most ships. My husband is very tall and had a hard time taking a shower. We had room 4646 which was next to the main dining room and close to the elevators, which I liked.

The main dining room is never open for lunch. It is only open for breakfast or dinner, which I hated. On sea days I loved to go to the main dining for lunch. The food wasn't very good and since it was a small and old ship you only had the choice of The Windjammer at lunch. I much prefer the large ships where you have The Park Cafe and the main dining room for lunch. The first night in the main dining room it took us over 2 hours to get our food and we didn't wait for dessert. I also hated that they had lobster and prime rib on the same night, so I didn't get prime rib. I also hated that there was only one small pool. The entertainment is limited.
