Sail Date: Dec 2016

Review is intended to help those planning to sail on Freedom OTS for 8-Day Eastern Caribbean – as a Diamond member we’ve sailed on a few RCCL ships and normally stay in a Junior Suite which we did on this cruise in December 2016 and this was our 2nd time on this ship.

Here’s What Works Well On this Ship: On-boarding was quick and we arrived at 1115 despite e-mail asking us to come at 1230. We were processed and on the ship in 20-minutes with cabins open at 1300 and our luggage arrived by 1500. Cabin attendant (Israel) for 9244 was fantastic and took great care of us. Ship is in very good condition and common areas were well maintained given over 4,000 people on board, and the gym, pools, bars, casino (slots paid well entire cruise – amazing, right!), and entertainment made for a good time.

Tip#1: Arrive early, carry on your two bottles of wine per cabin (they never checked our luggage so we could have had 4 bottles easily) and you should get on quickly despite the e-mail they may send.
