I love. Celebrity. I especially love the Solstice size ships. This was my first sail on the Equinox & she did not disappoint. She's a beautiful vessel. Everything was as expected while sailing on the Equinox. My stateroom was lovely. Deck 11, midship, port side, 1633. Nice & quiet. Exquisite sunrises & very efficient, accommodating, pleasant cabin attendants. The food and the service in Blu was outstanding as usual. Benny, Nora, and Linda our hostess were fun & very efficient. Dined in all three speciality restaurants. Murano definitely number 1. Tuscan Grille was extremely good and probably the best filet I've ever eaten ever! Silk Harvest was ok. But servers were very nice. I enjoyed reading every morning in Cafe IlBaco. Marvelous iced skinny lattes... of course the Martini Bar wa a highlight every night before dinner. Best bartenders in the world! Loved the shore excursions. Snorkeled & drove in Jeeps all over Cozumel. Loved the overnight in Cozumel too. Took a private taxi in Cartagena and toured the Old City. Beautiful architecture. Loved all of the musical entertainment. Bands & Combos all over the ship every day & night. Did not attend any of the show productions due to eating dinner between 8:00-8:30. Totally loved the Idol Karaoke competition. Our new friend Marko from Finland came in second place! Such fun! Only 15 children on the entire ship. I love children but this was definitely an asset for this cruise. Embarkation went smoothly. Disembarkation not so good. Couldn't find a porter to help with luggage & had a really tough time carrying three suitcases thru the long lines in customs. I highly recommend this cruise. Perfect weather. Interesting ports of call. Met fabulous people from all over the world. Yes, a very positive experience! Can't wait to board the Eclipe next Wednesday for the 12 night holiday cruise!
