We selected Celebrity expecting a step up from our 38 cruises on RCCL. Immediately when we went into Terminal 25, we knew that our expectations were overrated. The terminal is nothing more than a warehouse. We knew there wouldn't be many children on the cruise but were surprised by the number of very rude elderly people who made the cruise very uncomfortable.

The food quality was a step up but the quantity was much less than RCCL. After 10 pm, food options were hard to find. The buffet area offered what appeared to be leftover sandwiches, pizza or pasta. Sweets were minimal and the area closed at 11 pm with only room service offered after that.

Entertainment was no where near the quality of RCCL. Cruise director was OK but his staff was very good. Dining room service - Sarosh, Zoran & Sasa delivered exceptional service. Alexander our room steward kept us comfy and well taken care of. we stayed in cabin 8250 with a veranda but found the veranda smaller even though we were on the hump. We normally do B2B's but would have been very cramped for space if bringing 2 weeks of clothing on board.
