Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Just returned form the Allure of the Seas (4-11 dec 2016) this was an Eastern Caribbean trip and a repeat of the itinerary we did on the Oasis November 2015. We had a balcony on the 12 floor which was easier to navigate than the dreaded 7th floor from the last cruise.

We did one specialty restaurant this time at the Brazilian Resturant. Please be aware...this is a meat place..9 courses of meat !! By the last 5 it became a small tasting, salads provided ( self serve bar ) cheese bread and great fried plantains. We normally ate in the American Icon for dinners ( beware: dry pork and chicken dishes ) and some breakfast. The Solarium is usually my favorite for lunch and some breakfasts. Last year it served more fresh foods and was peaceful, this year lots of selections were the same as the windjammer and seemed to be used as an overflow for the windjammer ..which was supper crowded, check the display screens near the dinning rooms for real time capacity of different food places. But don't bother trying to read the daily menus off these screens, totally out of focus !!

Shows were good, always enjoy the musicals. We did the Prohibition Party, interesting but not real exciting, sorta dragged.
