Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, it was 14 nights NOT B2B, sailed from Tampa, FL (we drive from Atlanta, GA) and the Oosterdam had just undergone drydock upgrades. Hollands prices are good, service is very good, and size of the ship is not overwhelming.

Overall this was a great cruise. We selected (not assigned) cabin V 8032, which is an accessible room. It had more room than other Verandah cabins and a bigger balcony. The shower was roll-in so it was very roomy. TV had been upgraded and there were adequate power outlets and usb ports.

Food was OK. Most menu items on the Lido Market buffet was also served that night in the Vista dining room, but you could get it faster. Main dining room service was slow.

Cabin VA

Accessible cabin. Lots of room. Bathroom was large with roll-in shower. Great water pressure! Upgraded flat screen on wall at foot of bed. Power and USB ports were well located. Large balcony.
