I have been on several cruises with various cruise lines and 4 of them with Carnival. This was one of the easier ships to get around on. The food is the worst of any cruise I have been on. The dining room food was never warm, very small portions and not a very appeasing menu to choose from. The buffet is about the same, food not warm, not tasty, very bland and this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only hot food you get is the pizzeria or hamburger grill on the lido deck. There is a deli bar on the end of the ship on the lido deck and the sandwiches there are good. There is a Mongolian Bar at the buffet on the lido deck area (during lunch only) and it is very good. However, people start lining up 30 minutes prior to serving and after standing in line for an hour the first time, I chose not to do it again.

We were on the 10th floor (Lido deck) and right off the elevators, very convenient. Rooms 10267 and 10265. However they have music until midnight in the Atrium and it was extremely loud and usually no more than a few people sitting around listening or dancing. With it being in the middle of the ship, the music exploded up to all floors above the Atrium and if you were fortunate enough to have a room close to the elevators you got NO sleep or relaxation. There are too many places on the ship that provide entertainment, music, dancing, etc than to put it in the middle of the ship where it vibrates and resounds straight up for 6 floors!!! At least stop the music by 9 or 10 p.m. if you insist on keeping music in the middle of the ship in the Atrium.

People came to breakfast with pajama's, robes, house slippers and some with rollers in their hair!!! Carnival has definitely gotten lax on attire when dining. Of course this did not happen in the main dining area, although they have gotten extremely lax on attire there also. I would think they would at least require you to be out of your PJ's when dining at breakfast.

Cabin 8F

Cabin was spacious and clean. The steward was amazing at keeping everything picked up and replaced. Always had clean towels and a clean room. Great cabin right off elevators and on Lido deck accessible to pool, grill, buffet, movies, etc. Other than the music from the 5 decks blaring until midnight it was a great cabin and location.
