We chose this for its itinerary as part of a special birthday celebration. The ship appeared tired, although supposedly refitted in April 2016! Balconies and staterooms were rusty, with the rails bowed, shower rooms were badly maintained with loose tiles, cupboard handles loose. Public toilets were also lacking in maintenance.

The food was of a relatively poor quality in both the main dining room and Oceanview cafe. Staff were, on the whole, inattentive and there was a distinct lack of staff in some areas, particularly bar areas. On deck there were no pool waiters. This is much different from past Celebrity Cruises.

We didn't participate in any entertainment particularly as the theatre show was at 19:00 so an impossible time. Read more
