We chose this cruise because the price was very reasonable. We were a little leery after reading so many negative reviews, but our experience was a good one. We were late boarding and leaving port, because they are remodeling the rooms on the ship. The muster drill is very long, and you have to stand the entire time. So if you have any health issues, you may want to see if there is an alternative to all that standing. Our room was not updated yet, but it was very nice. We were on the lido deck with a balcony, and our room steward was very attentive to anything we needed. The room was very clean, and the bed really comfy! The white robes are not standard in the rooms anymore, but if you ask your room steward, he will get you one to wear. The ship was very clean, and plenty of chairs around the pool for everyone.

Bar service was good at every bar we went to, and the food in the main dining room was great. We did anytime dining, so we had a different waiter each night, but they were all good.

We had the continental breakfast delivered to our room each morning, and it was good and always arrived on time. The lunch buffet had a big variety of food, and everything we had was good.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Our cabin was not updated yet, but had a king bed, a couch, vanity with stool, and 2 chairs and a table on the balcony. The bathroom was older, but we didn't mind as it was roomy enough for showering and getting ready for the day. The tv was old, but we never turned it on so it did not matter to us. When we arrived, the room steward asked us if we wanted our room cleaned morning or evening; they don't do it twice a day anymore.

Port Reviews

Half Moon Cay

No excursion necessary for us. The beach was beautiful with plenty of chairs and crystal clear water for swimming. A barbecue lunch provided by the ships staff.

Nassau

We did a 2 hour van tour around Nassau. It was very nice with stops at the queens stairway, the rum cake factory ( with samples), the Atlantis, and cabbage beach on Paradise Island. It was very enjoyable and informative. Then we did some shopping at the straw market, which is always a fun time, and went to Senor Frogs for a couple Bahamian beers and some munchies!
