Our 5 night cruise leaving December 3rd was enjoyable. Very easy check-in although we were very early (about 10:30). We were able to board immediately and the Windjammer even opened 10 minutes early. Cabins were ready at 1:00 and not 1:30 as advertised so that was nice. Cabin had great storage!
As Diamond Plus members, we spend a fair amount of time in the Concierge Club. Rafael was very personable. The 'happy hour' spread and the morning continental breakfast were excellent...they get an A in that department.
The dining room menu left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Prime Rib, however, was back on, as well as sea bass, but some nights it was a chore to choose something. Desserts? Forget about it...I passed on it most nights. The lunches at the Windjammer did offer a few very good items, Chicken Wellington being one of them.
Been here many times, but it's been over 10 years since we took any kind of tour. We took a city trolley tour and it was great. $20 pp and learned many things from a great tour guide.
I didn't remember the vendors being as aggressive as they were downtown. We walked on the water side going back to the ship just because of the vendors. I know it's tough to make a living, but our experience was like being in the Straw Market in Nassau. No thanks...turns me off instead of making me want to go into a store. We had not been docked downtown in many years and enjoyed the two-level shopping area right there at the pier.
