This is a great ship to go cruising on and we have just completed a sector from Singapore to Fremantle. We had a large ocean view stateroom that was spacious and more than we had anticipated. Entertainment was of a very good standard and we enjoyed the many shows. Day time activities were many and catered for all, including many intergenerational family groups that we saw travelling together. The food we were served at the various venues was of good quality and well presented. The only downside to the dining experience was the obvious number of staff that had limited experience serving in the "complimentary" restaurants. It was chaos for the first couple of nights out of Singapore. On our fist night we dined at "Chic", were presented with three different menus that we attempted to order from before the waiter decided he had found the correct one. There were no table napkins, we had to ask for butter for our bread rolls and no wine lists were presented. Iced water was the only beverage offered. On the second night as "Chic" was our designated venue we encountered a long line outside and were told to go upstairs to "Silk" for dinner. They found us a table after some discussion as to why we were there instead of downstairs. The service and presentation was good and we enjoyed the experience. Third attempt at "Chic" proved better and they seemed to have got their act together under what appeared to be supervision from more experienced staff. Overall we had an enjoyable time onboard but coming on to the Australian cruise circuit a few things will have to be improved or they will get a hard time from the Aussies.
Spacious and well furnished. Two armchairs were greatly appreciated in the room.
