Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We recently returned from our trip on the Oasis of the Seas. There were a lot of similarities with Freedom of the Seas, another large ship which we cruised on several years ago. The cabins were pretty much the same, and there was the Ice skating rink and the Promenade Mall type area.

But the Oasis was above and beyond Freedom. I couldn't help but be impressed with the size of the ship. It was huge! We especially loved the park area. There is nothing like that on other ship classes. The aqua show was very cool, and we loved the zipline.

With regards to feeling crowded, I have to say they did a good job there as far as we were concerned. The check in and debarking lines were long, but they always kept moving along at a good pace and really were no trouble. No real problems attending the shows and events we wanted.

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Very near the Park area and other 8th floor activities was a good location for us. No noise. Room was a typical RCL balcony room.
