This is a stunning ship and the service is average. The food, both in the dining room and the buffet looks delicious but all of it tastes terrible! Absolutely the worst cruise food ever. Seriously! Most is inedible and our standards are not that high! Many other passengers we spoke with said the same thing. this is the worst type of institutional food of the lowest quality and all very poorly cooked. The meats were the cheapest possible and dry, overcooked and rubbery. The sauces were bland and simply poured over the foods at the last minute rather than the food being cooked with the sauces. The desserts were dry, cheap sugary junk, mostly even worse than hospital food! I actually couldn't eat for 2 days! However, they make the food look wonderful! it is all artfully displayed but may as well be plastic. Our balcony cabin was beautify, large, clean, comfortable with a sizable balcony and a panoramic view. the rest of the ship is beautifully designed and a feast for the eyes. Embarkation was through very ugly warehouses and the disembarkation was horrible - almost 4 hours of standing and slowly inching along about a 1.5 miles - ugly, uncomfortable, poorly organized. Super disappointing. We will NEVER sail with Royal Caribbean again and never from Fort Lauderdale.
