We have been cruising for years and always had a wonderful time.We had never booked with Royal Caribbean, but heard great things about them. Sadly this was not the case on Navigator of the Seas !! We arrived at the port a couple hours early and expected a wait, but not to be bused over to Bayside and never picked back up. Most people had to get a cab back to the ship in fear of missing the sailing. When we finally arrived back at the port it was to LONG lines of VERY angry cruisers waiting to board and we were screamed and yelled at for being moved to the front of the line. The dining room staff was GREAT, and the only place on the ship that had palatable food, the rest was TERRIBLE. First time I have ever been served a crab cake made with imitation crab meat.....GROSS !!! Prime rib was on the menu, but we were told they were out when we tried to order it. We purchased the drink package only to find out they did not offer the brands they had listed on their website. Toilet was backed up the first two-three days and the A/C was a hit and miss adventure. We had some sincere "I am sorry" from the staff and we received an apology note and fruit plate from the dining room staff on our last cruise day. Very sad when your waiter has to apologize for the food he is serving you !!! NO poolside entertainment, they had a small band that played for 1-2 hours each day at sea and a few contest. We truly could not wait to get off this ship !!!
The cabin was nice and our room steward was GREAT !!
We did have issues with the toilet not working and informed the line on the deck was clogged and they were working on it.
We also had issues with the A/C not working since there are no guidelines telling you the balcony door must be closed and locked in order for the A/C to work. After several days of heat we figured t out.
Beautiful port and we enjoyed the day relaxing on the beach.
One of our favorite stops, love the old world charm of the city and the shopping.
We enjoyed walking thru town and afternoon on the beach.
Loved Miami and the Hop On Top tour
