Oasis of the Seas is a great ship. The aqua theater show was very good. It was cancelled for several days due to inclimate weather but a couple of shows were offered at the end of the cruise. If you get a chance watch the cast practice. It is enjoyable. The presentation of Cats was cancelled on our show day due to significant number of injuries. The ice show was very entertaining. The costumes were very colorful and what the performers can do on that small ice rink is incredible. Comedy is always a must see and on this cruise it was no exception. Very good comedian. Jokes were geared to a more mature audience. Come Fly With Me is a must see.

Our cabin was 7298. Great location. Conveniently located near the boardwalk on deck 6 and Central Park on deck 8. There is a back way to go and get to the aqua theater / boardwalk and walking track in less than a minute. Typical size for a balcony room. Our Cabin Steward Paul was great.

We had dinner in the main dining room five nights and sat at Table 222, deck 3. Enrique and Conrad took care of us and did a superb job. Food was excellent. Our head waiter Jason also was very good. We also ate at Sabor on the boardwalk. This is an a la carte restaurant and had excellent guacamole, chips and salsa, as well as tacos. We ate breakfast and lunch at a variety of restaurants throughout the ship. We found the wipe out cafe lacking compared to the food and service on the Allure of the Seas. The Windjammer Marketplace had really good food. There are times when this is less crowded such as after 8pm. If you can handle the crowds this is an excellent choice. At the burger and fries station you can request a veggie burger which is worth the ten minute wait.

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

Very nice location. Excellent room steward Paul. On the port side of the ship. There is a back way that leads to the rock climbing wall, the aqua theater, the Boardwalk, and the deck 5 walking track.
