We had a great cruise to the Southern Caribbean and the Panama Canal. The Zuiderdam was an older ship, but still in great shape. It is also smaller and this is what we preferred for this cruise. The staff from top to bottom was fantastic. They all were happy and great to be around. All went above and beyond. Embarkation was quick and easy. Disembarkation was quick and easy until we got to the FLL airport and found out there were 8 other ships in port that day and it was also the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Not the cruise lines fault. Food was great in the dining room. Pretty good at the buffet with a good selection. The Dive Inn burgers were not as good as Guy's on the Carival ships. Cabin was smaller, but still comfortable. Was built for 4 persons. Would not recommend staying with 4 persons in this cabin. Entertainment was very good, especially the entertainment brought on board. The Island Magic steel band was amazing! All in all would do this cruise on this ship again in a heartbeat!
Cabin was a little small, but fine for two people. It is built for 4 people, but I would not recommend it. Would be very tight. Cabin was very quiet. Had a balcony, not huge, but adequate.
