Unfortunately, due to high winds, we were not able to stop at Great Strirrup Key but instead we headed on to Nassau. We arrived in Nassau a day early (around 3PM) and stayed overnight until 5PM the next day. Would have enjoyed seeing Great Stirrup but it was nice to have the extra time on shore versus at sea. We had an interior cabin and was a bit shocked when we first walked in at how small it was. We didn't spend much time in the cabin so the size was actually ok after the initial shock. Our cabin maid was very friendly and always called us by name. Food was not that great in the buffet. I really didn't like the fact that everyone had to reach in over the first row of food in order to get food from the back row. lots of arms/arm hair reaching over food....yuck! The main dining room breakfasts and dinners were good + poolside BBQ was good. Didn't care too much for the free lunch pizza/pasta being served in the Italian Specialty restaurant. Soft serve ice cream machines shut down too early. There was ample activities throughout the evenings although some of the cruise director staff were hard to understand and seemed to rush thru the games/activities. We opted to carry our luggage off so we could leave early. According to the bulletin, 7:45 disembarkation. However, they actually allowed exit at 7AM. Would have been nice to know this. Heard no announcements and even called reception at 6:45 to see if possible to exit early and was told 7:45. That 45 min diff would was huge for us as we hit Miami traffic and was heading straight to work from the ship.
