My fiancée and I booked this quick trip from Miami to Nassau to get away from the cold Minnesota weather in December. We cruised last New Years on the Carnival Ecstasy (I believe the oldest and smallest Carnival ships) so my expectations were low but not low enough unfortunately. We will be booking Norwegian or Royal Caribbean next time - we would pay 3x as much for a more updated ship with more options for activities and food!

Good:

-Katya, the bartender in the Serenity Pool/Bar area (21+) was very attentive, polite, and remembered our names after the first order.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8B

-Rooms are very outdated (despite some supposed upgrades in 2015)

-2 outlets in total

-1 small flatscreen TV (non-HD, about 15 channels)

-Hallways and room smelled slightly of mold.

-The hairdryer was a "hose" and took about 30 minutes to partially dry my hair and at that point I gave up and went to dinner.

Port Reviews

Miami

The Port of Miami is conveniently located close to the Miami International Airport and many hotels.
