Sail Date: Nov 2016

This was our 50th cruise, 19th with Princess and 7th on the Caribbean Princess.

The Caribbean Princess I understand will be going to dry dock very soon, wish it was before we sailed. We had a leak in the ceiling of our cabin which was fixed right away, no huge deal. Our drawers in the nightstand were constantly opening, I had to wedge some cardboard to stop it. The grout in the bathroom was black, needs to be really scrubbed to get it back to the cream color. In the public rooms a lot of the furniture was ready for Goodwill, worn out fabrics and scratches on wood surfaces. We first sailed on the CP in 2005 and have seen quite a lot of wear and tear in the last 11 years. Princess needs to do a better job of keeping their ships in shape.

No complaints on the rest of the cruise, food was fine but could have been hotter in the Horizon Court especially for breakfast. As usual, service was very good. The entertainment was also very good headlined by Nathan Foley. The production show "Bravo" was outstanding as was "The Voice of the Sea".
